Company Background

In operation since 1997, PartyPoker’s parent company, PartyGaming is also currently operating three other gaming sites. Their operational focus is on fun and easy to use games that are both reliable and completely secure. The company upgrades and updates both their systems and their software on a regular basis, and is recognized as one of the most innovative online gaming companies.

Currently their PartyPoker site is the “largest online poker brand in terms of number of players and revenues” in the world. The company also makes all of its software available for expert scrutiny and is regularly lab tested for fairness, user control, resilience and integrity.

Software Usability

PartyPoker software can be played with or without a download, and comprehensive tutorials allow all players to train on the software before entering into active play, and also help new players understand the rules of each variety of poker game. Even more interesting are the tutorials about poker etiquette, and a live “chat” glossary that helps customers to get immediate answers.

Once a player has trained themselves to a comfortable level they can move into active gaming. They have a nice variety of games to choose from with easy to use controls and features. There is even a “Hand Analyser” option that reviews the player’s opening hand for gaming worthiness and offers advice about improving it.

New Player Bonuses

While PartyPoker does not make any promotional or sign on bonuses available to its millions of players it does provide an excellent Loyalty Program for all of its active members. The system is based on the frequency of play and the success of the player. There are three levels of “loyalty” that are rewarded points. The points are called PartyPoints, Loyalty Points and Reward Points. Each brings, or maintains, a specific level of reward, and basically the more frequently a poker player plays, the larger the rewards.

Game Varieties

The PartyPoker site makes several traditional varieties of poker available for play. Currently they are:

For each variety of game they provide complete training and interactive tutorials. They also make alternative forms of information available for players to use – there is a “Winning Poker” DVD available for purchase as well as a downloadable “Poker Trainer” and even an opportunity to enroll in the “Poker Academy”
